The SAS Summer School classes and competitions will be divided into three streams: Level 1(approx 5th grade AMEB) Level 2 (approx 6th-7th grade) Level 3 (8th and above)
During the five day course students will have the opportunity to play in quartets and ensembles working closely with tutors towards a performance on the final evening of the School.
Students will also have access to individual lessons, and masterclasses that will focus on saxophone technique and repertoire. Each evening, concerts will be given by staff and special guest to develop students understanding of performance techniques and broaden their experience with saxophone repertoire.
Over the week, Nathan will be tutoring the students and also perform a short recital featuring works by Greenbaum, Poulenc and a premiere of a new tenor sonata.
